In March of 2009 we moved this architecturally famous beach house on a barge approximately 90 miles up the Atlantic coastline from Barnegate Light, NJ to its new home at Glen Cove, NY. The house was designed by Robert Venturi of Philadelphia, PA and has been an icon of the architectural world ever since. The house was a single story frame (30’ x 37’) that weighed 51 ton. The move went smoothly and now sets with another Venturi designed house at its new location.
