This project was in Fort Washington, PA and included five different buildings being moved on the property. The overall dimensions of the main house was 40’ x 84’, three stories and 20” thick stone walls altogether weighing 840 tons. The house was lifted slightly, moved endways 30’, rotated about 15 degrees and excavated under for a 12’ basement. With 22 Buckingham power and coaster dollies under the house, the short move and spin was no problem at all. The 21’ x 40’ stone garage and the 12’ x 12’ stone pool house were both moved 500 – 600 yards on the property. The stone barn and the frame guest house have not yet been moved.
