Historic Carus Schoolhouse Saved From Demolition

Carus Schoolhouse in Oregon City sits on steel prior to relocation

Wolfe has completed the first stage of the relocation process for a historic schoolhouse in Oregon City, Oregon. The circa-1929 two-room schoolhouse had to be moved by July 1st to avoid demolition, and when the scheduled house mover didn’t work out, Wolfe stepped in to relocate the schoolhouse before the deadline. Wolfe moved the schoolhouse to a temporary location where it will sit while preparations at the new site are completed.
