Historic South Bend House Relocated

Habitat for Missions House Move

Giving back to the community is a noble act, but giving an entire building isn’t your everyday donation. Wolfe House Movers worked with Habitat for Missions to preserve a historic South Bend, Indiana house that will eventually be sold and the proceeds given to a local church. Preserving our historic structures has become a noteworthy trend over the past few years, helping to counteract the demolition of buildings that are perfectly usable and livable. Once the house is at its new site, the reconstruction phase will bring in at-risk-teens to learn construction skills. The 1920s house is bringing the community together in more ways than one and is a great example of the positive impact that can take place by preserving structures.
