Ivey-Ellington House Relocated for Preservation

Wolfe relocated the Ivey-Ellington House this week for the Town of Cary, NC. The 150-year-old Gothic Revival-style home is on the National Register of Historic Places and is being moved for preservation due to development at its previous location. After the move, the town plans to evaluate the restoration and future of the building, with proposed plans for use as a welcome or history center.
