A local business, Osborne Dental, purchased this multi-tenant office building from Utah DOT and contracted Wolfe House & Building Movers to move it across the property, saving the fairly new building from demolition. The building was moved 300′ and rotated 90 degrees in order to make way for a new freeway-style interchange at Bangerter Highway in South Jordan, just south of Salt Lake City. At 18,000 square foot and weighing 400 tons, the steel and wood frame structure is one of the largest buildings to have been moved in Utah’s history. The Buckingham Power Dolly SmartSteer® System was used to complete this relocation.
