Wolfe House & Building Movers did not have to travel far for this relocation project. Just 15 mile from home, this three story, frame and stone farmhouse relocation project was a nice change for the crew that performed the move. The house, including its fireplaces, stone veneer and porch roofs, was moved a couple hundred feet on the road and then a few hundred feet more through a field to the new location where it was supported in place for a new basement to be built under it. The house was moved with the Buckingham Power Dolly System with SmartSteer, enabling just one man to perform the move to the new site with a hand-held remote control.
