Located in the historic district of Charleston, South Carolina, this Italian inspired home was elevated 8′ by Wolfe House Movers to reduce the risk of flooding and water damage. The 3,900 square foot home was triple brick construction with a frame addition and altogether weighed in at 360 tons. A combination of Toe Jacks, Crib Jacks, and two Unified Jack Machines synchronized with the SmartJack program were used to complete this lift. The Post & Courier reports that the South Carolina coastline, including the City of Charleston, flooded a record 89 times in 2019 beating the previous record of 58 flooding events in 2015 (read more on this here).
