Charlotte, NC / October 2018

Wolfe House Movers relocated this Spanish-American War Monument in Charlotte, NC.

The monument was to a Lieutenant William Shipp of the Tenth Cavalry in the U.S. Army. He was killed on July 1, 1898 in San Juan during the Battle of Santiago. We lifted the monument out of the ground and carried it around to the front of the federal courthouse. Once there, we rotated it, moved it into place, set it down, and stabilized it. The monument was moved with 4-Dolly Buckingham SmartSteer System.
