The owner of this sprawling 111’x35′ frame barn wanted to renovate it and make it a usable space for his grandchildren, so he hired Wolfe to lift the barn while the foundation was replaced. The barn was built over a slope with several floor levels. Wolfe built crib piles to support the building, then installed jacks and lifted the entire barn 7′ into the air with Buckingham Unified Jacking Machines. When the new foundations and floor systems were installed, Wolfe lowered the barn 6′, leaving an extra foot of head room in the lower levels of the barn.
