Historic Fairview Gate House Relocated

The Historic Fairview Gate House was moved 100′ to a new foundation by Wolfe House & Building Movers in Detroit, Michigan. The stone and brick structure was approximately 400 square feet and was transported by the Buckingham Hydraulic Power Dolly System. The Fairview Pumping Station required the Historic Gate House to be relocated due to station redevelopment and expansion. The Historic Gate House will continue to reside in the Joseph Barry Subdivision of Detroit, next to the Pumping Station.
