Wolfe House & Building Movers participated in the preservation of the historic Olds-Norman house in Erie, Pennsylvania, moving the building 250 feet from its original location. Built in the 1880s, the three-story, 4500-sq-ft Queen-Anne-style building will be renovated for guest lodging for Gannon University. Wolfe placed the house on steel beams and dollies and drove it north over the move path, rotating the house 180° en route to face the street in its new location. Despite the rainy weather, the relocation went smoothly and Wolfe positioned the house safely over the new footers. To read news articles on the move and watch a timelapse of the process, click here.
