Historic Carriage House Relocated in Montclair, NJ

Historic, red brick, carriage house raised on supports.

On July 17, 2017, Wolfe House & Building Movers relocated a 40’x48′, two story, quad brick Carriage House behind the Georgian Inn in Montclair, NJ. Built in 1902 as a single family home, the Carriage House is being moved to a new location on the Georgian Inn property and will be adapted for use as medical offices.

The building was lifted with a Unified Hydraulic Jacking System, rotated 90 degrees and moved 200′ across the property on the Buckingham Power Dolly System with 12 Dollies.
